Hidden Vulnerabilities: Cybersecurity and Essential Community Services in NSW - NCOSS & Workventures Report - Webinar 2
What are the hidden cybersecurity gaps common in the sector? How might those be a risk for you?
At a time when cyber threats are increasing in sophistication and targeted nature, not-for-profit organisations may face disproportionate challenges when it comes to cyber security and digital privacy. NFPs are often responsible for protecting highly sensitive personal data but have limited resources and expertise to protect it.
To help combat these challenges facing the community and social sector, the New South Wales Council of Social Service (NCOSS), in partnership with WorkVentures, did an in-depth assessment of the cyber security practices of 14 community services in NSW to identify key strengths and weaknesses of the sector's digital infrastructure. Workventure's Cybersecurity lead, Gabe Wallis, will be walking you through this report.
